Reporter Hailey Cook spoke to organizers about their hopes and plans for the demonstration, which begins at noon. Police said as of yet, they’re not planning street closures, although that may change. Demonstrators typically line Northeast Center Street near the Capitol Mall, and there will be a stage at the intersection with Northeast Summer Street. Speeches begin at 12:45 p.m.
