A new sign is up on the facade of the Elsinore Theatre downtown.

Crews today mounted the sign – perhaps the most visible part of a larger renovation of the historic theater that’s currently underway.

The sign is now covered by sheet and will remain obscured until an unveiling ceremony on Sept. 12. Read more about the renovations plans in reporter Abbey McDonald’s article here.
