The Pentacle Theatre is hosting open auditions for “The Play That Goes Wrong,” a smash-hit comedy where a group of amateur actors attempts to get through a production rife with failing props, missed cues and other surprises.

The open auditions for all eight roles will be Saturday, Sept. 2, from 1-5 p.m. at the Pentacle Theatre, located at 324 52nd Ave. N.W.

Actors will be asked to read selected scenes from the play. Scripts are available to borrow and take home from the theatre’s office for a $10 refundable deposit.

Doors open at 12:30 p.m., and those auditioning should plan to arrive early to fill out an audition form which is also available to print online. Participants should plan to stay through 5 p.m.

The theater also asks actors to bring a list of schedule conflicts from Sept. 10 through Dec. 9.

For more information, see the Pentacle’s audition page.
