Good evening, Salem!

The weather for the weekend calls for warm days in the mid-80s and mild nights in the mid-50s, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.

So, you’ll likely want get out and about before fall rains settle in down the road. Mind you, that the decline we’ve seen in recent weeks in the cost of regular gas has done a u-turn. Diesel prices, however, continue to edge down, averaging $5.40 a gallon in Salem compared to $5.64 a month ago.
