CITY MEETING: Councilors to consider $1.5 million from infrastructure bond for civic center electrical upgrades

Monday night, Salem city councilors will consider whether to spend $1.5 million in unallocated infrastructure bond dollars to fix electrical issues discovered during seismic retrofit work on the Salem Civic Center.


The money would come from the $300 million infrastructure bond approved by voters in 2022, as recommended by the Salem Bond Oversight Committee last month.
