Triathletes converged on Riverfront Park Sunday morning for Salem’s fourth annual Ironman 70.3 race.
The race was full with 2,500 competitors and hundreds more spectators and supporters who gathered to cheer on athletes from all over the world.
Luke Tasker, a Canadian triathlete who won Ironman 70.3 Victoria earlier this year, took the win with a time of 3:53:00.
Canadian Maia Watson won the woman’s race, with a time of 4:12:51. View the full results here .
Ironman 70.3 is scheduled to return to Salem annually through 2028 .
