UPDATE 3:40 p.m.: The deceased’s name is Eduardo Flores Rodriguez. A Marion County Sheriff’s Office release previously misstated the name.

A Woodburn man who was shot in east Salem earlier this week died in the hospital Thursday, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said.

Eduardo Flores Rodriguez, 21, was reportedly driving a Chrysler 300 Tuesday evening and crashed into a parked car. Deputies arrived at Northeast Snoopy Lane and Linus Court around 11 p.m. to find Flores Rodriguez with an apparent gunshot wound to the head, Marion County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Jeremy Landers said.

Two other men showed up at Salem Health later that night with gunshot wounds, according to police. Both were treated and released.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team searched a home on Northeast Snoopy Court Thursday afternoon, Landers said. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
