Good evening, Salem.

As of Monday morning, the Secretary of State’s office reports 36% of Oregon voters have returned their ballots.

After a slow start, both Marion and Polk counties have edged above the statewide number. Marion County stands at 38% turnout, or 83,745 ballots cast, and Polk County is at 36.5%, or 22,929 ballots.

If you’re not sure whether your ballot is among them, you can check online at MyVotes, the Secretary of State’s tool for voters.

Our team is preparing to bring you initial election results shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday. You can read more about how we’ll cover Election Night below, as well as some other news of the day.
