Your Thursday evening update on Salem news

Good evening, Salem.

We’re expecting updated election results from Marion County this evening which will likely add clarity to some races that remained close after Tuesday night returns.

We’ll update our election results page tonight once the updated numbers post, and have more coverage for you Friday zeroing in on a few close local races.

Don’t worry, though, it’s not all election news – we’re still keeping an eye on local progress on a mobile crisis unit, how a Salem career education program is struggling to feed students and more.
