Your Tuesday evening update on Salem news

Good evening, Salem.
Having your voice heard at the Capitol isn’t as hard as it may seem. While lobbyists are paid to push their agendas, legislators know who puts them in office – the voter.
So, we’re sharing again our story on how you can participate and speak up on issues that are vital to you. You have weeks and weeks to hone your own skills at persuading legislators to your viewpoint.
You can always find all our latest coverage on our website. Here’s some of today’s news, including a story about a missing Salem teenager. He was found on the coast hours after Salem police put out the call for help. We generally produce missing person stories when authorities get involved and are asking for community help.
