UPDATE: Police find teen reported missing from Salem

UPDATE: Police found the teen in Lincoln City and he was safe with officers Tuesday afternoon as he awaited reunification with his parents, according to the Salem Police Department’s Facebook page.

Salem police are asking for the public’s help to find a teen missing since Monday evening.

The teen, who police referred to as Warren, was last seen in the area of 3900 Shaniko Court near Southeast Oakhill Avenue and Southeast 12th Street Cutoff. The area is between Southeast Commercial and 12th Streets.

“Warren has special needs, yet can communicate with others,” the Salem Police Department said in a Facebook post Tuesday afternoon. The agency asked anyone who sees him to contact the dispatch center as soon as possible at 503-588-6123, select option 1 to quickly reach a call taker and refer to case number 23-1163.

The teen is is 17, 5-foot-4 and weighs 230 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark colored hoodie and gray sweatpants, and he the house without his shoes.
