Good evening….

Ever had ambitions to be a public official? To help run government?

Here’s your chance.

An election is coming in May to fill slots on the Salem-Keizer School Board, the Chemeketa Community College Board, the Keizer Fire District Board and even the Suburban East Salem Water District Board.

Marion County Clerk Bill Burgess has everything you would want to know about what seats are open, how to file to become a candidate and more on his website.

Is this the year you come in off the bench?

Now for some other news you can trust from Salem Reporter….
