Good evening, Salem.

It will be longer and brighter than last year’s, with nearly 50 floats and groups participating. Everything you need to know is in our guide below.

Despite rain and wind in the forecast, the parade will go on as planned.

“We live in the Northwest. There’s no bad weather, just bad layering choices,” said Jim Vu, president of the Salem Main Street Association, which is putting on the parade.
