You have just over one week to return your ballot for the May 20 election – and so far, turnout is sparse. Your votes will determine a majority of seats on the Salem-Keizer School Board and the future of Salem’s library, among other things.

Marion County’s latest report, posted Friday, May 9, showed just 18,600 people had voted – just 8% of those registered.
