Good evening, Salem.
CASA of Marion County, a nonprofit that provides advocates for children in foster care, is hosting its annual Superhero Run at Riverfront Park this Saturday, June 20. There are three race options, and costumes are strongly encouraged for both kids and adults.
Races include a free one-mile run, and ticketed 5k and 10k races, which are each $45 to participate in. Along with the races, there will be adult and youth costume contests and a festival with booths, food and other fun to enjoy until 1 p.m.
The races all start at 9 a.m., and registration and tickets are available online until June 20. Check-in for races starts at 7 a.m. at the Rotary Pavilion in Riverfront Park, located at 200 Water St. N.E.
