Good evening, Salem.
Salem lifted its outdoor burn ban at 10 a.m. Monday morning as temperatures cooled into the 80s.
“City and Fire officials ask that the community continue to be alert and mindful of the dry conditions and to practice fire safety when burning outdoors,” the city said in a press release.
Heat will continue in the coming days, with highs in the high 80s or low 90s for most of the week.
