Good evening, Salem.
Portland General Electric announced Monday it had finished restoring power from ice storm outages.
Portland and Eugene were both hit hard during the storm, while Salem made it through with just a few small outages. The utility said its restoration effort handled 524,600 customer outages over nine days, with a peak of 165,000 customers without power on Jan. 13.
Getting the lights back on took 1,800 workers, including mutual assistance crews from Washington, Idaho and California.
