Good evening, Salem.
Freezing rain began falling Tuesday afternoon, and conditions will worsen in the evening and overnight according to the National Weather Service.
The forecast predicts up to around a half-inch of total ice accumulation by the morning, with strong wind gusts around 20 miles an hour.
It’s expected to warm up with more rain on Wednesday, which will have a high near 47 degrees.
