Today is a day gardeners across the nation have been eagerly awaiting: National Sneak Some Zucchini Onto Your Neighbor’s Porch Day.
Zucchini are not a major Oregon crop – they merit nary a mention in the Oregon Department of Agriculture’s most recent statistical report – but they dominate home gardens and tables at the farmers market this time of year.
