Avelo Airlines has extended its Salem routes to Las Vegas and Burbank through April, the airline announced Thursday.

Avelo launched its commercial air service in Salem last October after a years-long effort from local government and business leaders to return flights to the state capital.

In July, the airline announced it would be extending the Las Vegas and Burbank routes through January, but would cut its newest route to the Sonoma County Airport in early September due to low demand.

Flights between Salem, Las Vegas and Burbank are available to book through April 29, 2025. One-way fare starts at $57 if passengers don’t select seats or pay for extra baggage. It’s an increase from the inaugural rates last October of $44 to Las Vegas, and $49 to Burbank.
