The Latest Stories For You From Salem Reporter

Good morning, Salem.
Salem Youth Collective is sponsoring “Named, Noticed, Known: A Framework for Belonging,” from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1444 Liberty St. S.E.
“How do we cultivate spaces where our teenagers can experience belonging? Based on national research on teens and mental health, this workshop will present a simple framework that can inform how adults can accompany young people, in our ministries, in the community, and in our lives,” a description says.
The workshop is hosted by Rev. Chris Dela Cruz of Portland’s Westminster Presbyterian Church, and includes a free pizza lunch where adults can talk with 6th to 12th graders about belonging. Dela Cruz will then work separately with adult attendees.
