Students, staff in Salem-Keizer schools get free Salem Reporter access
Students in the Salem-Keizer School District are getting free access to Salem Reporter in a partnership between the news organization and the school system.
Employees of the district also will have access when using school computers.
The program is intended to give students the ability to read local news reports, develop media literacy and add to their reading diet. Boosting student reading scores is a primary goal for district officials.
