The Latest Stories For You From Salem Reporter

Good morning, Salem.
Two local animal rescues are hosting a clinic this weekend where dogs and cats can get vaccinated or microchipped.
The clinic will be open on Sunday, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Salem Friends of Felines, which is hosting the event along with Little Critters Rescue.
The dog entrance will be at 4155 Cherry Ave., Friends of Felines’ former thrift store, and the cat entrance will be at 4157 Cherry Ave., the rescue’s adoption center.
All dogs need to arrive on a leash or inside a secure carrier, and cats must come in a secure carrier. Cardboard carriers can also be bought at the clinic for $8.
