Report For America, a national nonprofit, announced that it will help fund a new education reporting job at Salem Reporter. The new position will be focused for a year on examining the finances and student performance of the Salem-Keizer School District, with a focus on reading.
The program was highly competitive, and will add to our growing ranks this year as we aim to deliver even more in-depth news coverage for Salem.
