Good morning, Salem.

This month, visitors to River Road Park will have a chance to find a treasure to take home.

Salem Seekers will distribute handmade glass birds to find throughout the month of August. They’ll be hidden in plain sight on or near established paths.

Birds will have a tag asking finders to share their discovery online. There’s a requested limit of one per household. River Road Park is located at 3045 River Road N.

Next month, the birds will be at Eola Ridge Park. For more information, see the Salem Seekers Facebook page.
