Is your dog eager to welcome visitors to Salem?
Travel Salem is seeking photogenic pooches for the cover of its 2027-28 visitors guide. The winning dog will be photographed showcasing local destinations, highlighting the pet-friendly experiences available in the region.
Dog contestants should be friendly, well-behaved and able to follow basic commands.
Interested humans can submit a 30 to 60 second video of them interacting with their dog to be considered. The deadline is Friday, May 8.
The dog must be a resident of Marion or Polk counties, and the human entering the dog must be at least 18. More information is on the contest page.
