A Marion County Circuit Court judge sentenced Jordan H. Fernandez, 17, to five years at a youth correctional facility for an adult charge for a robbery at US Market last year. Fernandez pleaded guilty to unlawful use of a weapon as an adult and robbery as a juvenile.

Salem man sentenced to 25 years in prison for 2023 fatal shooting near state fairgrounds
A Marion County Circuit Court Judge sentenced Michael R. Solis, 21, to 25 years in state prison after he pleaded guilty to shooting and killing a man near the Oregon State Fairgrounds in 2023. Last month, Solis pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter.
