Pedestrian in critical condition, NE Lancaster reopened following crash

A female pedestrian is in critical condition after a driver struck her at the intersection of Northeast Lancaster Drive and Northeast Wolverine Street Wednesday.
Salem police are investigating the collision. The road was closed for about two hours Wednesday afternoon, reopening at 2:15 p.m.
The woman was transported to the hospital, police spokeswoman Angela Hedrick said. She said she did not provide any details about the cause of the collision.
