Your Monday evening update on Salem news

Good evening, Salem.
After a few days of haze, wildfire smoke should dissipate from the Salem area tomorrow, as air quality improves across much of western Oregon.
The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality is forecasting good air quality tomorrow after Salem spent much of Monday and the weekend at “moderate” levels due to particulate pollution.
We hope you’re able to breathe a little easier as temperatures remain cooler this week than last – though there’s still plenty of summer in the forecast.
