Marion County’s website has been down for much of the day Wednesday, and county officials don’t yet have an estimate for fixing it. The site remained offline as of 4:45 p.m.

“We are doing everything in our power to get service restored as quickly as possible,” the county posted on its Facebook page around 11:30 a.m. A county spokesman did not respond to a question about the cause or expected duration of the outage late Wednesday afternoon.
