Good morning, Salem.
The Hoopla 3-on-3 basketball tournament is back, and there will be some street closures to look out for as more than 1,000 teams compete around the capitol.
The tournament will close State Street behind the Oregon State Capital Building throughout the week, from Northeast 12th Street to Northeast Church Street. The closure will start at 6 p.m. today, July 24, and last through Sunday, July 30, at 9 p.m.
Starting Friday, there will be additional closures that also end Sunday at 9 p.m., including:
-Starting at 4 p.m., Northeast Cottage Street, from State Street to Northeast Court Street will be closed.
-Starting at 6 p.m., Northeast Court Street will close between Northeast 12th Street and Northeast Cottage Street.
ADA parking will be available at Capitol’s underground parking garage from Tuesday to Friday, at the intersection of Southeast Ferry and Winter streets.
