The city is closing much of the area around the Marion Parkade for the next month to make way for cleaning, new lights and repairs.

Dozens who responded to to the city’s announcement took issue with the decision to block off the area around the parking garage during freezing temperatures, expressing concern about its impact on homeless people downtown. Find that story below.
