The Latest Stories For You From Salem Reporter

Good morning, Salem.
We’re a week away from the Salem Reporter Town Hall that is focused on city elections.
You’re invited to help.
One portion of the program will have two reporters questioning a candidate for mayor, Vanessa Nordyke. She is a Salem city councilor who wants to replace Mayor Julie Hoy.
If you were on stage with Nordyke, what would you ask?
Send your question to Managing Editor Alexander by email to [email protected].
The best questions are those that relate to current issues facing the community and city government.
Allow us to note that Hoy has declined to participate in the Town Hall.
