Salem’s resident bald eagles are nearly nesting, just in time for Eagle Watch 2026  

On a cool, gray morning at Minto-Brown Island Park, Salem Parks Ranger Mike Zieker peered through binoculars at a wild cluster of sticks and debris perched several feet up in a tree about a half mile away.
