Good morning, Salem.
Community Business and Education Leaders is hosting the event, which is all about building health, connection and safety around Salem neighborhoods. The conversation will touch on children’s success in school, housing security, neighborhood safety and home ownership, according to the event description online.
The event is the last in a series of meetings that have brought together neighborhood association leaders with Salem area officials.
Speakers include Salem Police Chief Trevor Womack, Salem-Keizer School District Superintendent Andrea Castañeda, Salem Housing Authority’s Director of Development and Strategy Jessica Blakely and chairs from several neighborhood family councils.
The event will be on Thursday, Nov. 6, from 8-9:30 a.m. It will be hosted at The REC by Valor Mentoring, located at 3500 River Rd. N in Keizer. Register for the event online here.
