Good evening, Salem.
A wind advisory is in the mix for the stormy weekend ahead.

The National Weather Service issued the advisory Friday afternoon for much of the Willamette Valley, including the greater Salem and Portland areas.

From 5 a.m. to 11p.m. Saturday, the, south winds of 15 to 25 mph are expected, with gusts up to 45mph. Tree limbs may be blown down and power outages may result.

We’ll monitor local streets, streams and power and let you now of any major disruptions.
