The Wall That Heals, a traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, made its way through Salem en route to an exhibition in Independence.

The exhibit honors Vietnam veterans and offers a chance to learn about veterans from Polk County who served in the war.

It will be on display at the Independence Sports Park from Thursday, Sept. 18 through Sunday, Sept. 21, at 2 p.m. Learn more and catch a schedule of events here.
