A Salem factory made national news recently.

Western University of Health Sciences Lebanon Oregon

The Corvallis-based company expanded into Salem in late 2023, building off Oregon State University research to produce bipedal robots intended for work in warehouses.

“Advancements in robotics that make humanoid designs more capable and affordable are combining with the surge of investment in artificial intelligence to create a new drive to make humanoid robots practical,” the post reported.
