If you’re looking to get more involved in your community this school year, a conversation happening next week could be a place to start.

On Thursday, Sept. 4, at 8 a.m., Community Business and Education Leaders is hosting a free gathering at the REC in Keizer, 3500 River Rd. N. The event is a chance for small conservations with other people who care about the community.

“Neighbors, families, and leaders from every corner of Salem and Keizer come together around shared tables to connect, dream, and build. In the spirit of growing stronger together, we’ll explore what our city could become if we fully unlocked the power of our neighborhoods to become places where families thrive, opportunities multiply, and relationships form the foundation of health, prosperity, and belonging,” and event flyer said.
