On Sunday, be aware of road closures in and south of downtown Salem.
South River Road will be closed from about 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the bike race, the city said.
Southeast Mission and South Saginaw streets will only be open to local traffic. In downtown, Southeast Front Street to Southeast Trade Street and Southeast Commercial Street will have one lane open for cars. South Owens Street between Southeast Liberty Street and River Road will be closed to westbound traffic.
Riverfront and Minto-Brown Island parks will remain open Sunday, though some portions will be inaccessible due to Ironman. Expect traffic and limited parking near the race.
