The so-called Six Great Ideas will be the focus of a conversation on Thursday, July 3, starting at 8 a.m. The aim is to envision how the community can collaborate to support strong families and better connections, according to an event flyer

The event includes a panel discussion featuring Salem Mayor Julie Hoy, Keizer Mayor Cathy Clark, Salem-Keizer School Board Chair Cynthia Richardson and several leaders of family neighborhood councils for Cummings and Washington elementary schools.

After panelists speak, members of the audience will have a chance for small group discussions.

The session includes a free breakfast, and is held at the REC, 3500 River Rd N., in Keizer. Learn more and register in advance on the CBEL website.
