The property is part of the Salem Center Mall, which local owners bought last spring. They’re planning to remodel and reopen the site with recliner seats and other new amenities – hopefully in time for summer blockbuster season. Our story below has more.

Salem Center’s owners have secured an independent operator to run the seven-screen movie theater downtown. They plan to remodel it to include recliner seats and modern projectors.
