The Willamette Heritage Center is hosting its beloved Sheep to Shawl festival Saturday which is sure to be a day of “woolly wonder” for the whole family, according to the center’s website. This year marks the festival’s 40th year.
The free festival will have sheep and live shearing demonstrations, children’s activities, lawn games, live music and food from Taproot’s Old Mill Cafe. There will also be lots of handmade goods from local vendors and artists.
The festival will take place at the Willamette Heritage Center, 1313 Mill St. S.E., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. More information is available here.
