A first look at Salem’s agreement with ODOT to address homeless camping

The city of Salem and the Oregon Department of Transportation are approaching the final stages of a long-awaited agreement which clarifies the ways the city can work to remove and manage homeless encampments on state property, including freeway underpasses.

  1. All that happened when they did last sweep is they came back to market St we continue to waste money with a homeless problem when what we have is a drug and mental health problem…
