Despite more inventory for buyers, demand keeps Salem’s housing market unbalanced

Housing inventory is climbing in Salem, but it’s still below what a balanced market would see.
With over 700 listings as of the end of June, Salem’s active housing inventory has rebounded after seeing a steady decline since last summer, Willamette Valley Multiple Listing Service data shows. Over 300 homes were newly listed during the month of June.
