Salem city councilors support transportation bill while Marion County commissioners oppose it

Salem Mayor Julie Hoy is among the supporters of a $4.3 billion state transportation proposal that would raise Oregon’s gas tax and vehicle registration fees to pay for infrastructure upgrades, and road and bridge maintenance.
