Here’s the lineup. Times are approximate, and the movies will start around sunset. Each movie will have captioning on a separate screen.

Movies in the Park was among the programs on the city’s chopping block this year to address the city’s multi-million dollar budget deficit. On May 8, members of the Salem City Budget Committee ultimately voted to spend $96,000 from the city’s tourism fund to continue parks programming, including Salem Kids Relays, and movies and concerts in Riverfront Park for the next year.
The votes were split, with those opposed saying they were concerned about further impact to the city’s savings account.
The budget is not final until the city council approves it later this month, but parks staff began planning summer movies after the committee’s decision.
