Verna Maurine (Scott) Fletcher

SALEM – Verna Maurine (Scott) Fletcher passed away on June 26, 2023 in Salem, Oregon, with her loving husband, Scott Fletcher, by her side at Salem Health.  She was born on August 9, 1953, in Fallon, Nevada, the youngest of four children of James DeWitt Scott and Helen Petrine (Sundrud) Scott. 

Her mother moved the family to Salem in August of 1956.  Verna attended Englewood Elementary, Parrish Middle, and graduated from North Salem High School.…
