Lane closures expected on South Liberty Road

Salem drivers should expect lane closures on South Liberty Road starting Tuesday as crews install new sidewalk ramps near Southeast Madrona Avenue.
Drivers should watch for restrictions on the street from Aug. 23 to Sept. 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the city said in a news release.
Crews will close one northbound lane on Liberty near Madrona to install accessible curb ramps and pave the area. During the closure, no left turns onto westbound Madrona will be allowed.
The work is expected to take about 10 days, the city said.
Drivers can check the city’s road conditions map online for an up-to-date view of road closures. For additional information about road work, contact the city at 503-588-6211 or [email protected].
