The National Weather Service is forecasting some chance of rain every day in the next week following a glorious fall weekend. Salem hit a high of 65 on Saturday and 66 on Monday.

Up to a half inch of rain is expected on Monday, a chance of rain Tuesday and Wednesday and then rain likely Thursday, Friday and Saturday. In other words, dig out the coats and umbrellas.
